We offer the supply and lay of sandstone paving, pool and wall copings, garden walls, steps (straight and radial) and many other landscape enhancements.
The varieties of paving sizes, shapes, surface textures and presentations are extensive with riven (naturally split), honed, sandblasted, flamed or tumbled to give an aged patina. The most popular colour groupings we offer are Mint, Grey and Beige.
The Mint colour and Riven texture of the Sandstone used for the private patio and interior of this Tekapo home, was chosen to compliment the House stone and natural surroundings.
Beige Indian Sandstone has been used to create a small amphi-theatre like feel using bullnosed honed curved steps with a riven stone patio for this Christchurch garden.
Paving is available in four standard sizes offering a wide range in laying patterns however non-standard sizes are available for customer specific needs.
Honed and Sawn edged Sandstone has been used for the patio with bullnosed pool copings for a Christchurch Garden.
Paving edges can be hand cut or sawn and to ensure flexural strength our standard paving thickness is 25mm for the traditional mortar lay. Different thicknesses may be requested.
The sandstone is described in our petrographic examination as (Sub-arkose) strong, fresh, fine grained, massively bedded quartzitic sandstone and all our sandstone has high compressive and flexural strength.
