Granite Setts/Cobbles have traditionally been used for streetscapes, however, today we now use them in the landscape Industry for driveways, crossovers, paths, edgings, kerbing and roundabouts.

We are able to choose from three stock sizes of granite setts at our yard in Christchurch. The sett size can be made to the clients specific needs. There are three colours available, Charcoal, White and Red with Charcoal being the most popular choice.

This Christchurch Driveway uses 150x100x100mm Charcoal granite setts laid within exposed aggregate. The setts are laid using the Bound system and are fully grouted.

We offer two methods of laying Grainite setts, Bound or Unbound.

  • The Bound method uses cement with the setts laid on concrete.
  • The UnBound method is cement free and uses different aggregates to bed and bind the setts. (Residential and Light Commercial Only).
